Job Summary
Our client, is looking to hire an Accounts Receivable professional based in Nairobi, Kenya. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all petty cash within the office, ensuring sufficient cash floats are always available, and handling banking relationships and transaction processing in the system. The ideal candidate must hold a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, have completed CPAK, and possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable.
- Minimum Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and CPA III

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
- Calculating, recording, inputting or processing financial data
- Preparing customer invoices based on accounting procedures
- Researching and investigating discrepancies in invoices to determine the accuracy of charges
- Matching payments to invoice numbers or sales orders
- Handling customer inquiries regarding billing issues
- Managing an Accounts Receivable ledger and Accounts Receivable files
- Submitting daily reports to management on accounts receivable operations
Minimum Requirements & Responsibility
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
- Completion of CPAK is mandatory.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable is necessary.
- Proficiency in ERP or a comparable accounting system is essential.
- Strong analytical and reporting abilities with meticulous attention to detail are needed.
- High professional integrity and organizational skills are crucial.
- Experience in managing a small team is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required.
