Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
- Lead the school's academic and administrative functions.
- Ensure high standards in teaching and learning, and manage staff performance.
- Develop and manage school budgets, resources, and operations.
- Establish a positive and inclusive school culture.
- Work closely with parents, teachers, and community stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with the Ministry of Education and TSC regulations.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and development.
Minimum Requirements & Responsibility
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B. Ed).
- Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
- Minimum of 8 years of teaching experience in a primary school.
- At least 3-5 years in a leadership role such as Deputy Head Teacher, Head of Department, or similar.
- Previous experience as a Head Teacher for 2-3 years in a similar institution is preferred.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Experience in financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Proficiency in ICT, digital education tools, and school management software.
